The MICG Annual Meeting is open to the public and we encourage anyone who is interested in the garden and our activities to attend! See the Agenda below. Please join us!
Note: anyone in the community can serve on the board. If you have an interest and are able to participate in board activities, you are qualified for nomination! If you would like information about the board, please contact any of the current board members:

1. Thanks to current board members, plot-holders, volunteers and Gip and Lauren for allowing us to continue to use their land

Beth Dooley, James Beard award-winning cookbook author, will share some simple recipes for using garden produce. On-site tasting at the community garden!

This evening we’ll hear from Mary Dougherty, author and activist who has fought for water, food security, and food as social justice.

Joy Shelble from UW-Extension/Bad River Food Sovereignty will be sharing her perspectives on food sovereignty and empowerment.

Marnie Myhre, Physical Therapist/Yoga Teacher will share some great tips and lead us through exercises for maintaining correct body alignment and avoiding injuries.

January Board Meeting
Members! Join us for our monthly Garden Board meeting via Zoom and be a part of the planning and discussion process. Check your membership emails for a Zoom link and board documents a few days prior to the meeting.

Annual Board Meeting
Members! Let your voice be heard and join us for our annual board meeting. While traditionally we gather in person to elect officers, discuss upcoming plans, and budget for the coming year, this year we will be meeting via Zoom. Please check your emails for an announcement and link.
